Collet Body (WP9,20)

A mechanical clamping device used to hold the electrode in position within the welding, cutting, or spraying torch. Collets, also known as chucks, are sized according to the diameter of the electrode used. In gas tungsten arc welding, the shielding gas flows through specially designed holes in the collet body and out through the nozzle.
